The Light of the World
Sunrise on Cadillac Mountain - Acadia National Park - Maine
God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good. God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. There was evening and there was morning, the first day. Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Genesis 1:3-5, John 8:12.
