Into Rest
This journal entry is from a short retreat into the Colorado mountains. The main goal was to get away and enjoy being outside. The experience of wandering off-trail far from the rush of life was rejuvenating. I intentionally left my camera gear behind, to be unencumbered by equipment.
These iPhone photographs and the 'Into Rest' poem reflect that experience.

“So we focus not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.
For what is seen is fleeting, but what is unseen is eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:18

Depth
Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God!
How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!
For of him, and through him, and to him are all things.
To him be the glory for ever!
Amen.
Romans 11:33, 36
