The rocks and waves create an interesting texture: round, shiny, wet rocks against the motion of waves on Lake Superior. The 1/2 second shutter speed did not freeze the water movement. A blur of bubbles and moving water displays the interaction with the rocks. These rocks are smooth, yet the water continues to polish. In a similar way God works in our hearts to round off the sharp edges as we are washed, sanctified, and justified by the Spirit of our God.
